Voice Score (0–100)

When you compose or generate an email in Presend, it receives a Voice Score from 0 to 100. This score measures how closely the email matches your personal writing style.

How it learns your voice: Presend analyzes your sent emails to build a model of your writing patterns:

• Sentence length and structure
• Vocabulary preferences (do you say "great" or "excellent"?)
• Punctuation habits (do you use em dashes? Exclamation marks?)
• Opening and closing patterns
• Formality level across different contexts
• Use of contractions, abbreviations, and informal language

Score interpretation:

• 80–100: This sounds like you. Authentic voice, natural patterns.
• 60–79: Mostly you, but some phrases feel generic or unnatural.
• 40–59: Mixed. Significant portions don't match your typical style.
• 0–39: This doesn't sound like you at all. Likely heavily AI-generated or written by someone else.

AI Slop Score (0–100)

Separately, Presend analyzes your email for common AI-generated patterns:

• Stock phrases and clichés that appear disproportionately in AI output
• Unnaturally consistent tone throughout the email
• Excessive hedging and corporate-safe language
• Predictable email structure (greeting → body → closing)
• Vocabulary that skews toward AI training data patterns

Score interpretation:

• 0–20: Very human. Natural, authentic writing.
• 21–50: Some AI influence. A few generic phrases but overall authentic.
• 51–79: Significant AI slop. The email reads like a ChatGPT draft with minor edits.
• 80–100: Full AI slop. This email could have been written by any AI tool for any person.

Shorter
